Navae smirks as Two demands to know what is going on, and she sarcastically says that she thought it was obvious they were being hunted. She tells the Vigilants that they are the only thing standing between civility and mayhem, and her only hope to maintain peace in Amikeko. Three asks why she doesn't protect Clover herself, and Navae says it's because she trusts them. She explains that The Scorned Vigilants is run by one of Amikeko's wealthier noble families, and that every one of her informants had been killed before they could relay information to her. Finally, a young Integrity mage managed to write a letter, that she thankfully found, since he had been killed before he could send it. She reveals the higher-ups of The Scorned Vigilants is House Duir, and tells Clover that they are her parents. Navae says she never liked the Duirs but didn't pry because she thought Clover would far more happy with the royal family. However, the Duirs have overstepped their boundaries, and she asks the Vigilants to help clear this blotch from her garden. Two asks if they don't have a choice, and Navae says they do, but this is the only right one. He agrees, but say they need to restock their equipment. Navae tells them that the Duir estate is close Ralo, and says she will take them to the back exit, but not before warning them that no one can know she met with them. She also warns the Vigilants about The Prisoner, saying he is unlike any warrior she has ever seen. She explains that he is the Duir's prisoner, and that Two and Three don't have the ability to defeat him. She tells Clover that when the time is right she will come for her when the time comes, and Clover says she understand. Navae leaves the group at the exit, never turning back.
