"I'll find you..."
Kanashi Fukitsu

Kanashi Fukitsu is the second in a series of Glitchtale Origins shorts, released on July 4, 2019. It takes place after the events of Kody Fallenfire, and before the events of Gaster and The Black Beast.

The short episode was directed by Camila Cuevas.

Plot[]

In the village of Sylva, humans and monsters live peacefully, and it is the home of the monster child named Kanashi Fukitsu and his family. Kanashi's cousin Amai Yuki and her father Kennari visit, and the two run outside to play. In the evening, Kennari calls them back to the village, but Kanashi and Amai forgets their scarf and doll respectively.

Meanwhile, Miasma casts a Shield of Kindness encasing Sylva in a dome, and his allies slaughtered an elderly human and monster outside. Miasma, in the village, produces a dark green gas that is killing the villagers and disintegrating them into dust. Kanashi and Kennari could only helplessly watch as their neighbors and family dissolve, trapped inside the dome. Many years later, Kanashi wakes up from a nightmare at the Winterway Residence. After being comforted by Kennari, Kanashi puts his cousin's doll in a drawer with an illustration of Miasma, swearing to find him.
