Glitchtale is an animated web series based on the 2D role-playing video game Undertale. It is the first animated series in Glitchtale. The series is produced by the Glitchtale Crew and was released on Camila Cuevas.
The first season premiered on February 28, 2016 and concluded on June 24, 2016.
The second season premiered on October 24, 2016 and concluded on December 3, 2021.
Synopsis[]
Glitchtale is an alternate timeline of Undertale created by Camila Cuevas! In this series, a different outcome of a genocide run changes the timeline forever. Old and new characters appear, and new environments are explored with many more things to come!

Production[]
On September 15, 2015, Undertale was released by Toby Fox and eventually, it was played by Camila Cuevas. She then became a huge fan of the video game, which inspired the concepts of her animations and alternate universe. Camila did not want to copy any other Undertale alternate universes and simply thought of a "what if..." scenario.[2]
On May 21, 2016, Camila Cuevas announced that if her audience request for it, she would produce a second season of the series, and on the same day, she revealed her decision to name her series Glitchtale. Camila Cuevas had already thought of an interesting concept for it, but she needed a lot more planning.[2]
In 2017, the prequel was announced. It was supposed to release in 2022, but was delayed due to her family situation. She clarified it would release in 2023, but that didn’t happen. As of 2024, she has confirmed the comissions are open soon. A trailer for the prequel is expected to drop in late 2024.
