Fergal Baladeva

Fergal is the former leader of the Grey Phantoms. He will appear in the Prequel, and has already made an appearance in Phantom Memories.[1]

Appearance[]

Fergal is older man. Despite his age, he seems to be very muscular. He has grey hair with orange streaks that correspond with his trait, along with orange eyes.

Personality[]

Fergal is described by Alexandra Lostra to be cruel and evil, very few brave enough to explain how bad he really was. He knew how to take the darkness inside someone and bring it to the surface (Gall's violent nature could be the result of this). He is very confident in his abilities, and is willing to stand up against the kingdom's most powerful wizards.

Abilities[]

Fragokinesis: Fergal can create powerful explosions from his hammer. They are so powerful that even Mila Rutrow a very powerful kindness mage, struggled to block his explosions.
Weapon Summoning: Fergal can create a giant hammer that he can use to create his explosions.

History[]

Fergal was formerly a Prince of Integreco and member of the Wizard Council before creating the Grey Phantoms. He initially attempted to convince powerful individuals to change things for the Traitless, but eventually turned to more and more extreme methods until the organization became essentially a terrorist group.

Prison[]

Fergal appears in Nar Keryness's flashback. In it, Fergal finds an injured Nar and introduces himself, praising Nar's ability to take a hit. Fergal offers the young man to come back to the Grey Phantoms hideout with him to give him food and bandage him up. Nar attempts to stand, but falls due to his broken leg. Fergal asks in disbelief if Nar could not tell his leg was broken, and Nar explains that according to his mother, he can't "feel anything" because he sick. Nar says he can bandage himself and catch up, but Fergal insists on carrying him.

Fergal introduces Nar to Vessel, Androse, Kayasi, and Alex, saying that Alex is also traitless. Vessel asks Fergal if Nar was strong, and Fergal tells him he is, but not in the way the monster wishes. Vessel welcomes Nar to the group, and the three sit down. Over time, Fergal, Nar, and the rest of the Phantoms grew closer, with Fergal mentoring Nar on how to fight. They would laugh at Androse and Vessel's rivalry, and eat Kayasi's cooking even though it was horrible.

During one of their mission, the group attempts to steal a piece of strange rudalite. Fergal attempts to fight off a knight, and their clash sends rocks everywhere. Nar attempts to help Fergal but is blast to edge of a cliff. Fergal struggles to stand and screams his pupil's name as Nar falls of the cliff.

Phantom Memories[2][]

Fergal marches up to the gates of a palace and is demanded to surrender by a guard, to which he refuses. Fergal questions if the guard felt safe behind the soldiers Fergal had killed, which enrages the guard. The two clash briefly, with Fergal standing victorious. Fergal is about to kill a woman, but is stopped by Mila Rutrow. Alexandra Lostra walks up to him and asks if he would like her to kill Mila, but he tells her to stick to her orders. Mila attempts to stop Alexandra, but is quickly stopped by one of Fergal's explosions. The two duel whilst Alexandra kills Lord Victor, and the two Phantoms leave.

For unknown reasons, his position later passed to Jessee Krovor.

Trivia[]

  • Nar's disappearance is most likely what made Fergal into the cold cruel person that Alexandra describes to Milo.
